Verne Gagne 82, Body Slams a 97 year old a lot!

Gagne, 82 and suffers from Alzheimer’s disease which led him to believe he was back in the ring.
A former wrestling Legend apparently body slammed a 97 yr old repeatedly causing the man’s death.
Helmut Gutman; the victim died three weeks later from the incident.

If asked if Gagne will be charged, the answer is NO.
You can not prosecute a person who can not mentally stand trial due to not knowing what is going on.
In the ring, Gagne (pronounced GAHN-yuh) typically finished off opponents with his trademark “sleeper hold”

Gagne was a professional athlete and was trained to do certain moves.
This is makes him much more dangerous than the ordinary person” with dementia.

The company that runs the nursing home refused to comment.

Gagne quit wrestling and started training more than 140 new-comers such  The Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter and Jesse “The Body” Ventura, who later became governor of Minnesota.

Daly, the law professor, counts himself among the many saddened by what happened at the nursing home.
