Obama goes the way of Europe. Yet Again

Obama just anounced today that the Automakers will now be making ugly little cars that get an extra 8 miles to the gallon and cost 1300$ more. What happened to just making sure your air pressure in your tires was right? That was supposedly saving a car owner 500$+ a yr. So instead he wants to make the automakers build ugly cars that would save 400$ a yr with a savings of $2800 over the life of the vehicle. What a joke. Let’s take a road trip to the beach in a cramped up sardine can. Little cars equals less room. His plan want work due to the fact that most people like larger vehicles, and the majority of people will just not buy a new car if smaller is better. Hence Obama’s plan want come close to working since the new cars want sell. Thoughts?
