Yet another reason why we should not rely on government!
Entrusted with the safeguarding of peace around the world, the U.N.
can’t even safeguard non living things.
About 1 Dozen loaned works of Art are missing at the U.N. HQ’s in NY
On the list of misplaced goods is a Stone Head of a Mayan Priest on
loan from Mexico.
A Bronze Sculpture from Abstract artist Jose De Rivera
Top U.N. officials are disputing the findings, while other Try to Find
the missing items.
They claim the U.N. lacks Regulatory Framework to deal with gifts and loans!
Kind of reminds me of the lack of Regulatory Framework by the US Govt.
