It took 6 Overtimes for the Orange to finally take a lead in Overtime
and once they got it, they didn’t look back.

Thabeet fouled out and that just seemed to open the lane up for the  Orange.

Regardless who was going to win tonight, the big issue now is that the winner
of this game is going to have tired legs playing West Virginia tomorrow Night.

Calhoun is now 0-4 in overtime games against the Syracuse Orange.

The Charlotte Bobcats look to stay Alive tonight against the Spurs!

The Charlotte Bobcats are heading into a game tonight with the hopes of moving closer to their 1st Playoff Appearance in Franchise history.

On March 7th the Bobcats beat the Knickerbockers ( lol ) in a battle of skill and will.  The cats coming off of their 5th consecutive win ( tied franchise record) seemed to realize that they needed to get this win.

And they did in a pretty determined fashion extending their streak to the longest in franchise history and the longest active winning streak in the East.  Charlotte’s six-game winning streak is longer than any Knicks team has had since January 2006 — when Brown was their coach.  Ironic huh!

The Knicks (25-36) lost critical ground in the playoff chase, falling three and a half games behind eighth-place Chicago. They fell two games behind the Bobcats (28-35), one of four teams that stand between them and the Bulls.

I guess what really does it for me is the snobs in Bristol never give love where love is due.  Sure the Bobcats haven’t been to the finals or even to the playoffs, but what other team in any sport do you know that comes out and gives 100% night in and night out.  It is kind of like these guys even if they know they are getting beat down, they are thinking ” Hmm, we aren’t going to win, but atleast I can practice my mid range jumper against some non practice defense”.
Larry brown has seemed to got Okafor wanting to actually play and earn his keep, which is good considering at times in previous seasons he looked like he was just going through the motions.  Felton at the Point is manhandling opposing players with his Strength and Quickness.  May is close to his target weight, which if he can knock some rust off over the next few weeks, could prove to be an ace in the hole against their first round opponents.  And can Raja and Diaw play at a high level of play night in and night out without having a slew of turnovers, if so they may be second round bound.

If they play the Celtics in round one, they advance.  If they can keep Okafor on Howard in the Magic meetup and not double team him like they did in their most recent game, they can beat them also.  As we saw in Orlando, Howard is going to get his ( 41 ) let him have it, we only lost by a few points by keeping bodies on the others, and when we tried to pop out to help double team him, he passed outside and they killed the bobcats with threes.

Tonight against the Spurs on their home court will prove to be a challenge.  Felton and Bell will be tasked with Parker and Ginobli and they will have a hard time covering them.  But it is doable.  If we can box the players out of the paint and keep Okafor on Tim Duncan then we have a chance.

If the Bobcats can beat the Spurs on their Home Court, the Bobcats to the Playoffs may be more than a dream.

As others have stated .. Show the Bobcats some love, they have beat the Celtics at Home, Lakers at Home, and the list of Powerhouse Star Studded teams they have beat is growing and it is now a fact they can beat you on any given night, you take a few seconds to breathe, You Lose.

Obama Approves Publicly Funded Stem Cell Research

OBAMA APPROVES USING TAXPAYERS CASH FOR STEM CELL RESEARCH

Well gone are the days where people actually had a say to what they wanted to invest in.
Obama signed a Policy today reversing Bush’s Policy that banned Stem Cell Research to be funded by taxpayers.

Well the Messiah feels that it is best to have Taxpayers pay for things that some feel unethical.
The old way required the Stem Cell Researchers to seek Private Funding who believed in the killing of Human Embryos.

BUT, Obama claims that he will ensure Govt oversite to make sure that no stem cells will be used to pursue Human Cloning.
YEAH Right!  They can’t even keep the Govt in check long enough to say that giving mortgages to people who work minimum wage jobs was a bad idea.  That was awesome.

So he claims the govt, which has shown a great lack of responsibility over the past 20 years can manage to keep all of the Stem Cell Research companies flooded with your money, from Human Organ Cloning or better in a private sealed lab in a basement.

I find it odd the only thing that we as citizens of the US can decide to spend our taxes on is donations toward the Dems or GOP campaign funds.

Well I guess when Bawnee Fank get’s Aids and has Kidney Failure from his deteriorating immune system, he can go to ebay and buy a new one.

After reading ask yourself if would we stimulate the economy by not approving this.

This Budget has 9000 Earmarks in it, which Obama campaigned against
Obama has an Earmark in the Budget also, but when reported on his name was Quickly removed from beside it.
With the Stimulus money thrown into the system, the Budget would have no effect if it remained the same

Unemployment has spiked to a 25 yr high of 8.1%
16 Jobs are lost every minute of the day.
Republicans and some Democrats have called for a Freeze on Govt Spending.

Pelosi threatened to throw the bill away as she is worried that if it doesn’t pass the
republicans would more fuel to add to the Democratic Spending Spree.
Which would hurt the democrats next election with them being the ones pushing for Massive Wasteful Spending.

I guess Obama and the Dems can claim that they are for Change, but the lack of Obama sticking to his campaign
promises makes it clear he was all about style, with the same old Politics.

A month or so ago Sean Hannity interviewed Rush limbaugh.

Hannity asked Rush if he wanted Obama to Fail.

Rush said if  Obama was for Not raising Taxes, then he wishes him to succeed, BUT
if Obama was wanting to Raise Taxes and Bigger Govt then he wanted Obama to FAIL.

Now the Liberals, just as they did in the bashing of Palin in the Primaries they are trying to
focus the attention of the American People from the screwed up Stimulus Bill they passed
and the Budget.

Obama claims the deficit was handed to them.  That seems to be their new Talking Point.

BUT

Bush may have left a deficit, but OBAMA and the left wing is the one not even thinking twice
about tripling it.  WTF is wrong with people.

16 jobs a Minute are lost and all we can do is spend billions on 9000 earmarks and waste
even more funds bailing out companies who should be allowed to fail.

I agree that McCain wasn’t the perfect candidate, but OBAMA!!  Come on!

Obama was already proven to spend a Million Dollars a day on earmarks while he was a
senator.  Now he is spending 26 Billion a day since taking Office.

The Scammer Bernie Madoff as in He Madeoff with billions, pleaded guilty to Federal Charges Thursday!

Bernie Madoff was the man behind the biggest Ponzi Scheme in History, Valued at 50 Billion if not more!

Prosecutors hinted at a Plea Deal Friday; Terms of this deal were not disclosed.

Madoff has been under In House Arrest to his Penthouse in NYC.  Hard time there!

Over the last 3 months prosecutors have been trying to figure out how deep this scam runs.
All that is known is many of the top worlds financiers have some skin in his game.

I guess with Bernie madoff living like a king in his highrise, it only makes sense to draw this case out a few more years so he can die of natural causes without doing time!

If asked if Gagne will be charged, the answer is NO.
You can not prosecute a person who can not mentally stand trial due to not knowing what is going on.
